Having released one of the more stunning debuts of 2003, The Kingdom Of Heaven Must Be Taken By Storm, young blues guitarist Entrance is back again with a sampling of a few of the hundred+ songs he's written on his Honey Moan EP. Entrance's music evokes elements of Led Zeppelin, T. Rex and blues legend Skip James. Influenced by Black Sabbath as much as the Bentonia school of blues, Entrance is a passionate, legitimate talent. Having spent the early part of the year on a six-week tour with Devendra Banhart, Entrance then spent his Spring opening for Cat Power, where he even accompanied her on piano for a few songs each night. Entrance then set up shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a month-long weekly Tuesday night residency at Pete's Candy Store. In October he will hit the road with Papa M a.k.a David Pajo.
